Luckily, our favourite foodie finds at Central Shopping Centre have something for all tastes – from spicy chicken wraps, through to delectable grilled burgers and healthy salads. The best part? Red Beetle Cafe

Known for their easy grab-and-go meals, Red Beetle Cafe has some amazing options for under $15! Eat their house-made sandwiches such as their Turkish Chicken Pesto Roll with mayonnaise, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and avocado, all on a Turkish Roll. For veggie lovers, grab their Veggie Turkish Roll with grilled mixed vegetables, pesto, olives, spinach, and feta. Eat at your desk or head out into the sunshine and lap up those rays.

Pizza Addiction

Italian lovers rejoice! Enjoy a pizza special at Pizza Addiction with one of their delicious combos: choose their large ($15) combo including a large traditional pizza and soft drink or water, which is perfect if you want to share with a work colleague! Their traditional pizza list includes favourites such as their Margherita, Pepperoni, Meat Lovers, BBQ Chicken, Garlic Cheese, and more!

Blue Marlin

For a mouth-watering seafood option, head to Blue Marlin for a quick lunchtime meal. Try their zesty Fish Burger with a fresh fish fillet, cheese, coleslaw and spicy sriracha mayonnaise, or opt for their Classic Burger with beef, tomato, cheese, ketchup, and mustard. Delish!

Nandos

Another great grab n’ go option is Nandos! Although they are known for their chicken tenders and roasts, don’t go past the spicy chicken BLT ($12.95), the vegetarian Halloumi ($12.95), or their Double Chicken, Cheese and Bacon Burger ($13.95). Bask in the sunshine at their large group tables – great for a late lunch after a meeting. If you have some change, splurge on some chips and a drink.

La Porchetta

Another great Italian option under $15 is La Porchetta! Pick up any small traditional pizza for under $14.90 (excluding The Lot, Smoked Salmon, Chicken and Meat Lovers). We love their Original Porchetta: tomato, mozzarella, Italian pork sausage, basil, and olives. Make sure you grab some garlic bread to share!

Subway

Grab a whole footlong sub filled with your favourite fillings for under $15! The best part about Subway is that you can pick and choose your sandwich. Some of our favourites include the Chicken and Pepperoni, Teriyaki Chicken and BLT! It’s our go- between meetings or for an after-work treat.

Mr Nomane

Brunch under $15? Yes, please!

Step away from your desk and head to Mr Nomane. Enjoy chicken schnitzel, tomato, avocado, lettuce and aioli on a brioche bun, or tuck into their delectable prosciutto, mozzarella, roquette and sun-dried tomato with pesto sandwich to make your lunch break a delicious one. Wash it all down with a coffee too.

Cold Rock

A Caroline Springs classic – Cold Rock is a must-go for those balmy summer nights. Pick from a load of flavours as your base (including vegan / dairy free flavours), then select your mix-ins! The team will then smash it up together for you to enjoy. You can even order 1L tubs to enjoy at home (…or in store, we don’t judge!). Our favourite combo is a chocolate base with choc chips, a brownie and fudge sauce. If you are celebrating a birthday – Cold Rock also does ice-cream cakes too. Find them at Shop 26/13-15 Lake St!

Red Beetle

The team at Red Beetle have a great range of desserts on offer – over ten available! Munch on their sugary cinnamon apple crumble pancakes or one of their moreish New York cheesecakes. If you prefer to drink your dessert – they make an incredible Baileys Hot Chocolate! We also have a soft spot for their easy-to-grab Chocolate Brownie Muffin too. Burgertory 

The best sort of dessert is one after a sinful burger at Burgertory! Indulge in their house-made Baklava – puff pastry sandwiched between different flavours including Biscoff and Nutella, red velvet and pistachio, just to name a few. If you are grabbing something to share, their delicious donut fries with chocolate sauce are a must-have. Find Burgertory at Shop 15B/13-15 Lake Street.

Pizza Addiction 

Smashed down a margarita pizza and on the hunt for something sweet? You have to grab Pizza Addiction’s Nutella Bite. This bite is similar to a Calzone – soft bread sandwiched between Nutella and dusted with icing sugar. We give it a 10/10! Find Pizza Addiction at Shop 3/ 218-222 Caroline Springs Boulevard.

Madame West

Some people prefer to end their evening on a savoury note, which is why we love Madame West’s cheese platter! Choose from a variety of cheeses from That’s Amore Cheesemonger, some fresh fruits and crackers. Don’t forget to pair it with a classic cocktail like a Negroni or an Espresso Martini for a night cap. Blue Marlin

If you’re craving a hearty meal, swing by Blue Marlin for their Special Burger ($15) – enjoy a double beef patty, double cheese, bacon, pickles, special sauce, ketchup and mustard – all on a brioche bun! You can even add Southern Fried Chicken if you need an extra kick. Don’t forget to add on a side of chips for $4! Bargain.

 

La Porchetta

Step into Italy at La Porchetta! They have an outside alfresco dining area for those balmy nights, or a great inside area for the whole family. Dig into Italian delights such as Bolognese, Lasagne and their creamy Gnocchi Carbonara – made with cream, bacon, egg and Parmesan cheese. The best part? Pick your favourite pasta to accompany the sauce: spaghetti, fettuccine, gnocchi, penne or tortellini. It’ll only set you back $18.90 for the entree size, or $22.90 for a main.

Red Beetle

In the mood for brunch? Head to Red Beetle where you can indulge in crispy bruschetta with crumbled feta and poached eggs, a classic Melbourne smashed avo with goat’s cheese or Eggs Benedict with pulled beef brisket (and hollandaise, of course!). Which will you enjoy first?

Pizza Addiction

Head to Pizza Addiction to try their Margherita Bocconcini Pizza from Pizza Addiction! With a thick, fluffy crust, a tomato base, basil, cheese and melted bocconcini – this is one slice you don’t want to miss out on!

Subway

If you need something on-the-go, grab a sub from Subway. Two of their most popular options are their Chicken Classic: a roll layered with your favourite toppings, and a flavour-packed chicken patty, or go the more indulgent route with their Meatball Sub – a cheesy mozzarella garlic bread bun loaded with tomato sauce, meatballs and your choice of salad.

Burgertory

Bite into a burger this summer at Burgertory – their best-selling Pride Burger ($15) is one to beat. With a soft potato bun, premium beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese and mustard & relish – you’ll be the envy of all your friends. Plus, all their burgers are named after the 7 Sins – how fun! Add fries and a drink for an extra $8.

Mr Nomane

Enjoy a Mediterranean inspired brunch at Mr Normane – pick up a coffee and enjoy their signature Sigara Borek – Turkish pastry stuffed with feta, ricotta, dill creme fraiche and tomato salsa. If you want to go the more traditional route, opt for Baked Eggs with chorizo, tomato sugo, manchego, peppers and sourdough bread.

Izumi

Have a Japanese feast at Izumi – inspired by the cuisine in Tokyo. From warming udon noodles, sushi rolls and delicious shared dishes – it’s great for big groups and families. Their Izumi Banquet is only $46 per person and comes with miso soup, edamame, sushi & sashimi, raw beef salad, takoyaki, gyoza, teriyaki beef, kaizen teppanyaki, steamed rice and ice-cream!

Caroline Thai

If you love Thai food, you have to swing past Caroline Thai. Pick up one of their spicy green curries packed with veggies and your choice of protein for under $20! Make sure you add in a side of rice and their papaya salad.

Dominos

If you are on a budget, pick up a traditional side pizza, drink and garlic bread for just $27. Try their ‘Fire Breather’ packed with pepperoni, smokey leg ham, ground beef, jalapenos, tomatoes, sliced red onion and chilli flakes – all on a cheesy base.

Nandos

Another great one for families, try out their flame-grilled Peri Peri Chicken Classic Burger – a simple bun with tomato, lettuce, aioli and your choice of spicy (BBQ, lemon and herb, medium, hot and extra hot) chicken patty. There are also vegan and veggie options available.
